Telkom Distributes 33 Cows For Idul Adha in Indonesia

In the framework of Idul Adha 1438 H, PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) distributed 33 cows to all of Telkom in Indonesia. The symbolic handover of sacrificial animals was made by Telkom's Finance Director Harry M. Zen in Jakarta, Friday (1/9).

"The handover of this sacrificial animal is one of the momentum for TelkomGroup to raise awareness to the community in Telkom's offices," said Harry M.Zen. "In addition, we also want Telkom to be a company that rahmatan lil 'alamin, which is felt the presence and benefits directly by the community," said Harry.

As in previous years, Telkom held individual animal sacrifices while donating cows to be slaughtered and distributed to eligible communities, especially those located near Telkom offices. It is intended that the distribution of meat sacrifice can be more evenly and right on target. This activity is part of the company's social awareness program.

Distribution of sacrificed animals is intended to increase interaction and hospitality between employees and the community around Telkom offices, "said Harry. After slaughter, a pack of 2 kilograms of meat is distributed to the underprivileged people who live in the vicinity of the Witel.

"Alhamdulillah this year Telkom again can carry out the distribution of sacrificial animals. This can not be separated from the participation of all Telkom Board of Directors and employees. Hopefully with this kind of activity, Telkom keeps motivated to give the best to society, "said Harry.

Harry M.Zen thanked the whole congregation the spirit of the community, especially around Telkom offices, which has supported Telkom's presence and progress as the largest digital telecommunication company in Indonesia. "Hopefully, the relationship between Telkom and the surrounding communities will be stronger in the coming years," concluded Harry.
